・End of Constant Growth

As a common knowledge, booming economy which is created by the times will
not come for quite a while. There may be economy recovery which is
announced by government, but a true recovery that many general citizens
can feel will not come within around a century, I personally suppose.
Because many social structures have changed.

For example, what is serious is the change of population structure. This
is like a reversed pyramid.

Young generations who have lots of motivation to spend sharply decreased,
and it's getting difficult for shops to sell items. Adjusting the tumbling
consumption, companies are cutting back on payroll.

In addition, society is accelerating globalization which has allowed companies
to use the labor force of countries which provides workers at cheap cost.
It is a fact that Japan companies have begun to employ workers in those
countries which are providing cheaper labor force.

What is scary is that not only manufacturing jobs but white collar jobs are
going to China (ex. In Dalian, Japanese education is quite hot.) This sort
of trend will be accelerated in the future.

In the past society of Japan, people willingly purchased a lot of items and
competitive globalization like now was not taking place. Current young
people will have difficulty in imagining the situation where so many companies
directly visited high schools and strongly asked students to work at their
companies as a full-time worker (this is a world which I cannot imagine
at all, either because I'm also one of ice age generation).

Current young people and next young generations may be unable to get employed
as a full-time worker if they just live in a way as majority of them go.
It is a very severe story. In the recent data (as of November, 2008), it was
announced that the percentage of irregular employment among whole employment
was around 40%.

On the contrary, a large number of general people of generations before
current young generations could get a job as a full-time worker and have a
bright hope for their futures. However, the "common" has gone away.
