Chapter 2

School Education and New Society

The percentage of the young people who graduated from university and quit
their first company within 3 years is going to the middle of 30% or higher.
And once young people quit their first company, they have to face difficulties
such as there are few second chances as I wrote in the first chapter.

The situation is same for the young people who graduated from prestigious
universities.

I would like you to make sure once again that the young people mean all the
young people who belong to the generation of "Employment Ice Age Generation"
and later generations. That is, all of those who were born in 1970s or after
that period belong to the young people in my definition.

There are many young people who went through harsh exam wars, especially
among early Employment Ice Age Generation. However, in real society, academic
backgrounds will have almost no value (after starting to work in private companies
which only require real result, profits) as I wrote in the first chapter.

If a person chose to only enter into private schools throughout whole school
period, it can be even thought as extremely risky investments. Because
the return is very low. Probably, only young people who are really facing the
current society can know it.

I mean that financial risk is greatly high for the parents of young people.
On the other hand, there is a serious problem for young people, especially,
for those who have higher academic backgrounds because relevancy between
school education and new society is very low and therefore, they will feel
further despair caused by the gap.

In new society, academic background (degree) does not work. Therefore,
it is possible that the young people who made great efforts to have gone
through exam wars may curse their past life and efforts that they have made.
