Does Degree Work in Real Society?

April 13, 2009

Some people tend to try to study something in university after losing
their job, but does it really guarantee to get a job after they finish
their course?

As I wrote in "New Life", companies are starting to require
profitable skills and real experiences, not theories.

In Japan, the number of people who cannot pay back their student loan after
they graduated university is soaring. In addition, an organization which handles
one of famous student loans decided to create a black list for those people.

What does it mean? Many of those who studied in university cannot get a job
with his/her degree although they had to pay lots of money for their degree.
Was it a good investment? Very suspicious.

It seems that those who are thinking about entering a university again after
losing their job for further career opportunity should consider the value of huge
investment, carefully. At least, many people may laugh at the decision, at least,
in current society in Japan.
